Episode 16 / 50
Five years ago, Claire lied to her boyfriend Black that she was marrying a richer man to spare him from her cancer. She died giving birth to Daisy, who was left at an orphanage with only a box of keepsakes. When Daisy called her father on Christmas Eve, Black cursed her as a "bastard" and drove her away, unaware of the truth. Only when the box spills open does remorse finally overwhelm him.
